About Me
I am a Content Designer for a technology company, and a Contributing Columnist for Seattle Weekly. Prior to these roles, I served as a lecturer of English at colleges in Washington and New Delhi. I have a PhD in English with a focus on spatial carcerality in the works of the South African Nobel Laureate, J.M. Coetzee.
My love for writing, which is coterminous with my fondness for the English language, stems from growing up in a city called Calcutta, which despite producing some of the most compelling meditations against colonial rule, held on to its admiration for the language.
A lot of what you'll come to know about me is rooted in my love for writing, global cultures, emerging technologies, politics, and art. To discuss a prospective writing or e-learning assignment, write to me at raysingha5@gmail.com
